In Dean’s Hour, Episode 7, “Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob,” Fr. Eugen J. Pentiuc invites us to read Genesis 12–50, “The Patriarchal History” as an ongoing sequence of divine visitations through which Israel’s Patriarchs Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob encountered Yahweh, or Ho On in Greek, translated as “The One Who Is”  as God the loving Father and trustworthy Provider of his children.

The Daughters of Penelope Orion Chapter#130, Boston presents a Symposium on Human Trafficking & Modern Slavery in Todays World on Saturday, April 5, 2025 at the Maliotis Cultural Center.

This day-long Symposium will feature esteemed experts in the many different areas of trafficking & slavery & will touch upon topics such as sexual exploitation, forced labor, domestic servitude & organ removal, along with public health concerns, law enforcement & training, & programs for survivors.  There will also be a survivor of human trafficking who will speak about her experiences.
